The safety and well-being of our employees and our customers is our priority. As we continue to monitor and learn more about COVID-19, we want to be transparent about what we’re doing at AkitaBox to protect our employees and continue to serve our customers.
Protecting our employees and customers
As our employees interact with customers and the general public, we have taken steps to limit exposure to the virus. We have put restrictions on travel, provided remote-work solutions, discouraged in-person meetings, and reinforced safe behavior in every environment – from our office to customer facilities. AkitaBox equipment undergoes sanitization protocols, and until further notice, AkitaBox employees will wear single-use gloves when onsite at customer facilities.
Our commitment to our customers and our communities
Fortunately, we have not experienced any degradation to customer service due to COVID-19. As a cloud solution provider, our software is delivered through Amazon Web Services (AWS) to provide world-class uptime and availability. In addition, our service and support teams are able to conduct remote work through a variety of online communication and collaboration tools. All that to say, we are open for business and here for you.
In addition, we are working right now to provide needed solutions to the communities we serve as we work together to battle this virus. Our healthcare clients are attempting to maximize space utilization and stand up new facilities inside their campuses. We will dedicate our staff and development efforts to helping them and others like them until we all return to stable ground. What we ask of you
We are taking every precaution to ensure the safety and health of our communities, but we need your help. If you or someone in your facility are experiencing flu-like symptoms and have AkitaBox scheduled to be onsite, please contact your AkitaBox representative to reschedule. Alternatively, we’d be happy to discuss our remote implementation services to see if that’s a good fit for your project. All you need to do is to reach out to your normal AkitaBox representative and we will take care of the rest.
Some of you may find yourself with a core crew of facilities staff caring for your facilities while they are empty. Oftentimes our clients have difficulty scheduling time to get new square footage into the AkitaBox solution due to the busy nature of those facilities. While our community work and existing obligations keeps our services team quite busy, we are always happy to help out while buildings are not in active service. This can be a good time to get things right on track while we are going through an otherwise very challenging time.
